However, talc, which had been the most popular adsorbent, is falling into disuse because it has a component considered carcinogenic (asbestos).<\/p>\n<p>Contech\u00ae, in partnership with EcoSign\u00ae, helps its customers to increase productivity, reducing breaks, tears and spots on the paper. It is also expected a reduction in downtime for cleaning the clothing system and the need for less aggressive chemicals for such cleaning, increasing the useful life of these components in the papermaking process.
