<\/div>[vc_column_text]The effective control of pitch and stickies in pulp and paper mills depends on innovative chemical and mechanical strategies for the continuous treatment of the mass, as it must not only act on the \u201ceffect\u201d (when the deposit is already formed), but also on the \u201ccauses\u201d. \u201d that lead to the formation of these deposits.<\/p>\n

Advanced Adsorption Processes (PAAs) can provide a level of fixation never before desired with conventional solutions. However, talc, which had been the most popular adsorbent, is falling into disuse because it has a component considered carcinogenic (asbestos).<\/p>\n

Contech\u00ae, in partnership with EcoSign\u00ae, helps its customers to increase productivity, reducing breaks, tears and spots on the paper. To face this new challenge, the following were developed:[\/vc_column_text]

  • Lamellar structure distinct from conventional adsorbents (phyllosilicates);<\/li>\n

  • Enhances both fixation and \u201cdetackfication\u201d;<\/li>\n
  • Displays unique organophilic property;<\/li>\n
  • Organophilization in situ<\/em> with Contech\u00ae polymer, maximizing the effect of fixing colloidal contaminants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
